Pineview

We had a great time at our annual family trip to Pineview. The water and weather were great.

Brian did awesome on the Wake Skate.

Who me?? Trouble??
The girls loves getting in the hot tub every day.
Great sandy beaches.
Savannah and Alyvia.
Puppa and Leila...not sure where Leila's smile is coming from, but apparently it is here to stay for awhile.
They loved to tube all by themselves. They would just sit out there and chat the entire time. It was really cute.
Puppa is so great with the girls. Thanks dad!

Chaz and Livy...
I am not sure why I try to take picture when the boat is moving...maybe it is because it is the only time they are sitting down.

Isaac

Well, as many of you know Isaac has had a rough year. Nothing major, but he was basically constantly sick. I started keeping a journal of how often he got sick and he never went longer then 10 days and that was usually when he was on antibiotics. So, after many visits with the pediatrician, allergists and an ENT we decided that he needed his tonsils out. He has already had tubes put in his ears and his adenoids out...with minor change.
He was scheduled for surgery August 10th. Of course for 2 weeks prior he had diarrhea and then about 2 days before started to get a pretty nasty cold. We were sure if they would still do the surgery by THANKFULLY after evaluating him they decided that he should be okay.
We headed up to Primary's in the afternoon on the 10th, he was a champ and did so good considering he couldn't eat anything the whole morning. The surgery lasted about 30 minutes, the surgeon said his tonsils were "huge" so all in all, his surgery was a success.

The recovery was long. Basically 2 whole weeks of not really eating or sleeping well. He was on Loratab every 4 hours...but we are so glad it is all behind us and we are optimistic for a fairly healthly fall and winter.

Pre-surgery waiting room, he was trying will all his might to get through those doors.
Nice look, they needed to put his name band on his foot, it didn't seem to bother him a bit.
Poor little man has no idea what is about to hit him.

About 2 hours after the surgery, isn't that the saddest picture...especially when compared to the happy little man above.
My mom came to help relieve us. Our kids have a really hard time coming out of anesthesia, so it was nice that one of us could leave and get some fresh air.

HAWAII

Brian and I went with our friends The Kofoed's to Hawaii. No kids + 2 days on Oahu + 3 days on Maui + great food= an awesome time had by all.

On the plane to Hawaii, first class pretty much rocked. I can say that because I NEVER fly first class, so it was a real treat.

Fisherman's Hat on Oahu.
Toni and I

BYU- Hawaii Campus.....

Rock jumping at Waimea Bay....so, so, so much fun. This was a great beach. I love the North Shore of Oahu.
Matisomoto's Shaved Ice. Brian fell in love.
Brian's favorite spot on the whole trip was right under those two trees. He sat there and read for hours.

We are looking a little tanner....this is at our hotel in Maui.

Brian kissed a frog and he liked it.....Cody caught this big frog in the pond at our hotel....
Snorkeling trip...pretty much looking hot!
We hiked to this water fall on Maui. Ohh and so random....Travis and LaRee were in Maui the same time we were, so we met up with them for this hike and then dinner that night. Below is LaRee, Sharee and me.

Brian on the rope swing....
Our hotel in Maui....ohh I will go back one day.

Happy Birthday little man!!

Today is Isaac's first birthday. Today it is rainy and cold, just like it was the day he was born. Strange for a June day.
A few fun facts about Isaac are:
**He is getting more daring when it comes to walking. He will walk around furniture and even walk a couple of steps between things.
**He has been to the peds office 19 times since January. No, this isn't because I am a hypochondriac, it is because he is always sick.
**He loves to push his car/ ball around the house and follow it.
**He loves, loves, loves his sister. If she is upset he will crawl over to check on her. He loves to pull himself up and walk around with her.
**He can wave "bye-bye" but it is backwards and so cute.
**He can say "dad" and occasionally mama.
**He loves to take baths or go for walks. Digging in the dirt and getting dirty is also a favorite pass time.
**He has already had tubes put in his ears and his adenoids out. His tonsils are next, hopefully in about six months.
**He loves anything that opens and shuts....drawers, cell phones, doors...you name it.
**When he smiles he sticks out his bottom teeth.
**He is the fastest crawler I have ever seen, he can take off and be across the room if I turn my heard for a minute.
**His nickname is "Monkey" or "Chunky"

We love Isaac so much, he has been a really fun addition to our little family.

Lovin' the Rain

So, for those of you who live in Utah know that it has been raining a lot here. The other night it was raining and Leila was in her swimming suit from earlier in the day, so she threw on her rain boots and grabbed her umbrella and this is what it looked like all put together....

Leila walking Jason out to the car...

Happy 80th Puppa

My Grandfather turned 80th Birthday the last weekend in April, so what a better way to celebrate then with a family reunion with everyone.
We went to Park City for the weekend and had a great time.

We did have dinner at our house one night.
Helen, Pupa and Cooper
Isaac was digging Puppa's dessert.
Me, Alina and my dad went on the zip-line at the Olympic Park, it was SO scary and fun!
The bobsled at the Olympic Museum. The kids thought that was cool.

Howdy, cowgirl...
Isaac had a couple of battle wounds on his face after his run in with the driveway.
Isaac wouldn't keep his hat on.

What a slacker...

I just realized that I never posted anything about Easter. I thought that the pictures were pretty cute, so even though it is late.....ENJOY!

Yes, the Easter Bunny did come visit.

I took about 1 million pictures and didn't get one that had both kids looking at the camera, let along smiling.
But, the tie is pretty darn cute.
Once again, a million pictures were taken and this was the best we could get. Everyone looked so cute all dressed up. And yes...the three girlies all look alike.
