La Caille

My grandfather and his girlfriend, Helen, took us out to dinner at La Caille while they were in town. What a treat!! We had a great time.

We ate:

King Crab Cakes- appetizer
Spinach Salad- Samantha
Avocado, crab and grapefruit salad- Brian
Rack of Lamb- Samantha
Venison- Brian
Bananas Foster- Samantha dessert
Binet's- Brian dessert

Everyone ordered a different entree and dessert, so it was great sampling them all. Thanks Helen for a great time.

The gang, enjoying the beautiful grounds.

Maybe one day my house will look like this. :-)

The Ray's

My cute sister-in-law...who would know that she is almost 8 months preggers!!!

My dad's oyster's, I thought the presentation of these were real cool.

Leila...

Cute Leila. She loves her leggings and asked if I would take her picture. Enjoy.

GO Huskies!!!

One of Leila's favorite things to do it watch the cheerleaders and drill team perform. So, it is perfect that Brian works at a high school. Off we went Friday night to watch Hillcrest get smeared by Riverton.
It was still a fun game and Leila was in heaven because the state drill team champs performed at half time.

This is how Isaac enjoyed most of the game..sound asleep.
Leila anxiously awaiting the drill teams performance.
She may look shy, but she was in seventh heaven.
Check out those cheeks. He is my chunky monkey!

Injury prone!!!

I love my husband, but I am not loving all his injuries. Some will recall that he is recovering from shoulder surgery. It has been about 8 weeks. Well, on Sunday he was playing badminton with his brother and sprained his ankle. We thought that he had done some serious damage due to the amount of pain he was in so we headed off to the ER.
Luckily it was just a bad sprain. The sad part is that Brian has injured himself doing the things that he love the most this summer: tubing and badminton. Hopefully he will heal over the winter and be ready to be back in the saddle next summer.
Yeah, he was not happy that I brought a camera along, but I told him that if he is going to keep getting injured, her can humor me and let me blog it. :-)

Beautiful Utah

I think that Utah is so beautiful. Granted, every state has something beautiful, I am just glad that we live 5 minutes from some of the most beautiful places in Utah.
We hiked to donut falls this last weekend. There was a rock slide that blocks the full beauty of the falls, but it was still awesome. Brian and his brother hiked the rock slide to the top to see the falls, cave, etc.
This is the rick slide...so sad.

Smiles

Well, Isaac has started smiling. It is SOOO cute. It pretty much makes me melt. SO, I thought I would share the cuteness. Needless to say, I didn't have much luck. Here are some insights of how cute it would be if I could catch the whole smile on camera!!
We are getting closer..

That is as good as it will get for this photoshot.
He starts to cry shortly after this picture. He is done!

Visiting Dad at Work

Leila loves to go to Brian's "Husky School." Hillcrest is where Brian did his administrative internship, so she is familiar with the school. Their mascot happens to be a husky. Last week we brought him lunch. She loves her dad so much it is really cute to see her face light up when she see him. The are best buddies.
