A few weekends ago, when it was actually warm...we decided to take dinner out on the lake. Chaz, Tawn and the girls invited us and my dad couldn't wait to get the boat on the water. Although the water was too cold to swim, we had a great time enjoying the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. We are pretty sure that Chloe is going to HATE us for taking this picture when she is older. We were cracking up!!
Chaz was really excited to get his picture taken.
Cowboy puppa!!
I am really impressed that the 3 little girls can keep themselves entertained on this boat without even going in the water. They played for 2 hours without toys or getting board. Their game of hide n' seek was the best.

Anniversary Activities
Brian and I had a great night out for our anniversary.
Brian brought home these beautiful flowers. This is a VERY rare occasion, so it was a great surprise. I gave him 2 CD's that were on his "wish list."
We then went downtown to Bambara for dinner. Wow, it was great. All of you living in SLC have got to try it out. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it.
After dinner we went to a movie.
It was so nice just to get away and have a quite dinner/ movie and not worry about a thing. Thanks to Bob and Suzy for watching Leila.

Mother's Day Weekend
So, I am a bit late with this post...
For Mother's Day weekend, Leila and I went to visit my mom. We spent Friday and Saturday in Mesquite and then Sunday and Monday in Las Vegas.
We had a great time hanging out at the pool, riding in the golf cart (Leila's favorite), playing with April (my mom's dog, another of Leila's favorites), watching the water show at the Bellagio, eating a yummy dinner at the Paris and just hanging out.
Thanks mom for the fun weekend!
...funny story note...
Leila was amazed with the slot machines and would have sat there all night pushing buttons had we let her. Well, in an attempt to deter her from them, we approached a security guard and asked him to tell her that little girls were not allowed to play with the slot machines. He very politely agreed and proceeded to tell her it wasn't allowed. Well, for those of you who know Leila well, she is terrified of not only men, but especially strangers.
She looked up at him and BURST into tears. Needless to say, the security guard felt really bad, Leila was terrified, BUT she didn't go near another slot machine. This picture was right after the incident.
Yummy desserts at the Paris after a yummy dinner.Waiting for the water show to start at the Bellagio. Leila was VERY excited, she could see the water start to percolate.
The three of us. Not a great picture, but it was the only one I took of all three of us.

Brian has a job!!!

I am happy to report that Brian has been offered a job for next year. It isn't in administration, but that is just fine. Since he is planning on starting his PhD next year (Fall '09) it didn't make much sense for him to work his butt off trying to get an administration position. Which would have been nearly impossible due to his minimal years teaching anyway.
He will be teaching history and psychology at Hillcrest High School. He is excited to teach psychology and I am excited about his 6 minute commute!!!
Way to go babe.

Our weather has been GRRRR-ATE
We finally have some good weather here. We have been plagued with storm after storm, snow after snow....but the last few days have been in the high 70's, I can handle that.
Leila has been begging to play with her "turtle" so Monday was the big day. She is pretty dang cute.
