Leila's 1st Dance Performance

Leila had her 1st dance performance on June 25th at Kinsbury Hall and she did great. I was so excited/ proud of her. I even cried when I first saw her all dressed up.
Leila did a great job, she didn't get stage freight, went out and remember her routine perfectly. It was GREAT!

Sitting with her class waiting to direction.

Grandma, Grandpa, Nana and Puppa were all able to come watch/ support her.

They gave her this flower at the end. We kept that puppy for about a month!

Isaac's Birthday

Isaac turned 3 on June 10th. Since he is obsessed with fire trucks we went to the Fire Station. The kids had a great time learning about the fire trucks and seeing the firefighters, lights, etc in action.

Here is the large group of munchkins. I am sure glad that a few of the parents were willing to stay and help keep them all together.

Not as easy as it looks getting all these kids turned the right way, smiles were optional....

Super cool cake made by my friend Stephanie.

Leila's Preschool Graduation

Leila graduated from preschool today. This girl went to 3 years of preschool becasue she missed the cut-off for kindergarten, so she couldn't be more excited to have graduated. I am so proud of Leila. She is such a smart, loving, caring, funny, talented little girl. She did a great job singing all the songs and being happy!

Leila and her two friends....Ashlyn and Brayden

Leila got to pick where we went to dinner before her graduation, she picked Asian star....yum!

Isaac

Isaac is one funny, firemen obsessed, loving, naughty, candy-loving, milk drinkin', Toy Story 3 lovin', outside playin' little boy. Isaac will be 3 in June and he keeps us laughing, yelling and sometimes crying. He loves, loves, loves his sisters (whats that saying you hurts those that you love the most?? :-). He is very protective of the girls, but also has no problem boppin them on a head when he feels that it is necessary. Isaac LOVES Toy Story 3 and would watch is everyday of we let him. He can sing pretty much the entire song that is at the beginning of Duck Tales. At night when he is going to bed Isaac loves for you to tell him a Buzz,Vector (villain from Despicable Me) and Isaac story; you must use the phrase "Ohh Poop" in order for him to be satisfied. Isaac loves to be outside and asks to play with his friend Bauer everyday. When Bauer and Isaac do get together they get super excited to see each other and then go their separate ways playing with different toys. Isaac always tells me that Bauer will be excited to see him, too funny! Isaac loves to look at fire trucks. If we see one we have to slow down to see it as we pass and if the sirens are going he is speechless. However, if we see a real live fireman in person though he gets really nervous and won't look at them.

Isaac, we love you buddy!

Isaac came out in this get-up one day telling me that he was "ready for school". He doesn't even go to school yet, but I wonder what they would say if I brought him looking like this one day.

Maybe just a slightly naughty face ?!?!?!?
So, he has peanut butter on his face, but aren't his eyes amazing!!
We need to get this kid a pair of cowboy boots so he can really ride!
 Isaac, I mean Cowboy Woody
Isaac after a great day of fun in Heber. Notice his Buzz Lightyear sleeping on his lap.

Easter

We had a great Easter. I felt like we did a good job balancing the the candy, egg hunting, true meaning of Easter thing pretty well. It was really great to be able to talk with Leila about the true meaning of Easter and how great it is going to be to be able to see Jesus again and having her "get it".

Claire, Leila and Isaac before church on Easter Sunday

Another try at getting a good pic of all three kids, nearly impossible.

Leila and dad coloring eggs after church on Sunday while the little kids were napping.

Claire was a big girl cleaning up everyones spilled candy.

The girlies before church.
Easter morning right after they found their baskets.

Isaac with his loot after an Easter Egg Hunt in Heber at Chaz and Tawns.
Digging for his gold.....this boy LOVES his candy, or anyones for that matter.
Leila wanted to do some modeling for me.

Leila's loot, she wasn't too thrilled that I was asking her to stop for a picture while looking for eggs.
My dad playing with the kiddos on the trap. They all had a great time.

We hope you all had a great Easter.

Unusual Visitors

Life with 3 kids is crazy....fun...you never know who might stop by.
We are fortunate that Buzz Lightyear stops by about once a day. He has some mad laser skills.

Woody will also stop by every now and then....but doesn't make such a regular appearance.

Then there is Little Miss. Sassypants, she stops by everyday...usually yelling at us all, but always making us smile.

Let's not forget about Cowboy Isaac. He usually runs around the house on his stick horse (not pictured here) yelling YEE HAW COWBOY. The cowboy hat has become a staple accessory for this little cowboys daily wardrobe.

Funny face Claire is here everyday and cracks us up! We have been trying to capture her faces on camera without much luck....here is one for your viewing enjoyment.

We can't forget about one of the BEST big sisters out there. Leila really is amazing. When we have made Isaac sad he goes to Leila for comfort...when I need a "babysitter" she is right there to help...I am so proud of Leila and her loving personality.

Happy Birthday Claire

I have been feeling like a total slacker when it comes to my blog. Rightfully so, I haven't posted regularly in about a year!! My main reason was the overwhelming stress of feeling like I need to catch up on everything...so I told myself that i would start with Claire's birthday and move forward, not stressing about the past 6 months that have been left out...so here we go.

Claire turned 1 on March 11th. Can't believe it!

Umm, what to say about Claire. She makes the funniest faces, she will just walk around the house exploring and happy with her independence. She loves to be outside, she has a fear of men (just like Leila did, but not as bad) and she has a dang cute smile.

She wanted to attack her ladybug cake.

I don't have her "stats" because she hasn't been to the doc for her 1 year check yet, but she is tall and skinny! This is Claire at 2 days old.

In her short little life Claire has been through the ringer...she has had E.Coli, strep throat (not a big deal, but you shouldn't get it that young) and her tonsils out. She is doing great now!

Love you Claire, can't wait to see all that you learn this year!!!
