Monthly post

I know that I need to get better about posting more frequently, mostly because I want to make blog books as scrapbooks and it will be a pretty lame book if I have 1 posting a month and that is it!

Brian's Birthday. We surprised him with some workout tools. I must say that he has been using them every night.

Brian's mom watches the kids in the morning when I work. This is what I walked into one morning when I was finished. They love playing hide n' seek in the storage room.
Pretty much looks like a fat man in a little suit. He love these Lightening McQueen jammies, but they just don't fit the kid. If he didn't wear diapers he would be exposing a pretty serious plumbers crack.

I was unloading groceries from the car the other day and Isaac got out his 4-wheeler to ride on. When I came back out he had found his cowboy hat and put that on too. He looks so stinkin' cute in that cowboy hat. We need to get him some cowboy boots.
Can ya tell he was having a great time?!?!? He is about to fall asleep on his 4-wheeler.
Next he got out Leila's suitcase and decided to take it for a walk. He is so funny.
Yes, Isaac is a naughty little boy...or shall I say typical boy. He dug through our junk drawer and found the only naughty thing that he wasn't supposed to have....a sharpie. He then proceeded to try to put it on like lipstick. He does this with all makers because he sees Leila and I using lipstick/ chapstick. He thought he was pretty funny.
Yes, I am aware of the horrible bedhead...problem is that he has two callics on the back of his head...so we need to let the hair grow long enough so that it will lay flat. It will be a long/ funny looking process.

Winter Fun...and a belly pic

We have had a great winter....

We went up to Paradise Utah and went swimming at the hotel...the kids loved it. Too bad Isaac ended up with a double ear infection and we and to come home early.
We also snowmobiled up in Paradise. I didn't go too far, but Leila thought it was great fun.
Isaac loves to play in the snow. The only problem is when we put his gloves on we can't get his thumb in the slot, so he can't really use his hands. But he is a trooper.

WE got this fire pit for Christmas and had to give it a try roasting marshmallows. The kids loved it.
Random pics.....

Should I be concerned? She loves to walk around in my black boots.
Nice bedhead!
Belly pic..probably the only one you will see. This was taken a few weeks ago at 30 weeks....yipee, I am almost done!

Christmas Festivities

We had a great Christmas this year. It was very magical for the kids, especially Leila.

Christmas Eve dinner was at our house. This amazing Coconut Cake was courtesy of Brian's cooking skills.

Isaac right before he went to bed because he was so sleepy.
Dad, Mom and Brian
Bob and Suzy
Tawnya reading the kids their Christmas story.

Christmas morning....this was Leila's favorite gift from Santa. She could hardly wait for her "Belle Barbie"
Isaac likes to sneak behind the tree and unplug the lights.
Leila got Brian the Pink Panther First Season, they are both excited to watch it.

Isaac LOVED his Matchbox Cars....

Santa brought this new playhouse. Isaac loves ringing the doorbell and answering the phone.
Isaac also got some of his own power tools. He thinks he is pretty big drilling this box.

Our pile of trash...I am glad we can at least recycle.
My dad got Isaac this little 4-wheeler power wheel. He loves it, but can't steer yet.
For Christmas dinner we went to Chaz and Tawn's for dinner. It was great. We were all well-fed and happy.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!

The last month....

We took Isaac in for his 18 month well check. He is in the 97% for his height and 35% for his weight. Other then being completely out of control he is right on track (although the dr. says that being completely out of control is right on track too, lovely). For those of you who got our Christmas card you may look at it and wonder why his one eye appears to be turning in all the time. We took him to the eye doctor and he said that the bridge of his nose is wider (fatter) on one side to give the allusion that one eye is turning in. As he thins out this will get better. It doesn't help that he usually is looking at the camera slightly sideways either. Other then in pictures it isn't really noticeable. He is still pretty cute!

Leila's preschool teacher made these cute Pilgrim outfits for the kids for Thanksgiving. She looked so stinkin' cute in it.
We attempted to take the kids to see Santa. Leila go to the front of the line and decided that she would "write him a letter instead." Isaac wasn't having it either. He never cries at strangers (as Leila did) so I don't see why Santa is so scary.
Somewhat better alternative. :-)
The mall put in this new train that gives rides around the bottom part of the mall. The kids really liked it.
Our gingerbread house creation. Don't look too closely.....
Leila and I took a trip to Atlanta to visit some friends and go to Cassie and Chloe's baptism. Leila is the best travel companion and didn't complain at all.
On the top of our "to do" list was visit the aquarium...one of the best!

Ella, Leila and Miles at the aquarium.
Carol, Addie, me, Cassie, Chloe and Leila right after the baptism.
Isaac is a great little helper (I can't believe I am writing that) he loves to get out the vacuum/ sweeper and clean Grandma's floors. He actually does a great job too.
Leila's cute little Rudolph antlers with a red nose and all.

Leila was an angel for our ward Christmas Nativity at our Christmas Breakfast. She looked pretty cute and did a great job.

Church Christmas dress. Isaac was sleeping so we will have to get a picture of the two of them on Christmas..

MERRY CHRISTMAS! I hope everyone has a great Christmas and I can't wait to see everyone updated blogs!!!
