Disneyland!!

We had an amazing time at Disneyland. It really couldn't have been any better. We can't wait to go back.

Isaac ate apples all day long. It was a great distraction for him.
He loved the cars at Toon Town. He played in them FOREVER!



We ate at Ariel's Grotto, or as Leila says "Ariel's Gelato"
Issac wouldn't take his eyes off Mary Poppins, I think he had a slight crush.
Grandma is going to be the Fairy Godmother for Halloween, so this picture was perfect.

Happy Birthday Leila

I can't believe Leila is 4 today...she honestly seems older then that to me.

A few things about Leila:
- She loves, loves her brother. She is always so concerned and patient with Isaac.

- If has has gotten hurt doing something (fingers getting smashed in the window, hand getting caught in the elevator, etc) she is always very cautious that it doesn't happen to someone else.
- She can memorize lyrics to songs incredibly fast.
- She loves to garden and can spot a weed from 5 feet way!


- She used to be easily scared, even the best Disney movie was too much for her, but now she loves spooky things.
- She is a great eater and loves avocados, dippin' eggs, tomato sandwiches and won't eat too many sweets. She can't finish a whole donut, bowl of ice cream. etc.
- She does have a bit of sass and drama in her, she can roll her eye with the best of them.
- Now she plays with her Dora Castle, Barbies and babies a lot.
- If Brian is home she cannot play by herself...she needs Brian with her always.


- Her nicknames are: Leila Belle, Bella, Stinker Belle and Dooda Bug

We love you Leila and are so glad that you are part of our family.

Hair cut.....I mean buzz.

I buzzed Isaac's hair a few weeks ago. It needed it badly. Brian wasn't too thrilled and still doesn't really like it, but I love it.

Isaac just sat there and did awesome while I buzzed it off.

Yes, it is true.....

I do have a little peanut growing inside. Complete surprise, as many of you know we have had to do fertility treatments to get pregnant with Leila and Isaac. In 7 years we have never gotten pregnant on our own. So when I wasn't feeling well in August, being pregnant was the last thing on my mind. After two pregnancy tests, it is true. It has taken sometime to get used to, but now we are excited.
Our little addition will arrive sometime in March.

Visit from The Bear's

Brian's sister Liz from San Francisco comes to visit every summer. We had a great time with them.
